What we collect, and who gets it
Short version: the details you type into the form go to the installer so they can call you, and nowhere else.

Who we are
OC Water Softener is an independent referral service for water treatment work in Orange County, California. Installations are performed by Crystal Clear Water LLC, CSLB license #872771.
What we collect
Only what you type into a form on this site: your name, phone number, and optionally which systems you are interested in and any notes you add. Alongside it we record the page the request came from, the referring page, your browser's user-agent string and the country your request originated from, so we can tell which pages are working.
There is no advertising network on this site, no third-party analytics script and no cookie set for tracking purposes.
What we do with it
Your request is stored in our database and sent to Crystal Clear Water LLC so they can contact you to arrange the free water test and quote. That is the whole purpose. We do not sell your details, we do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not pass them to any other contractor or lead broker.
Who processes it on our behalf
- Cloudflare — hosting, the database your request is stored in, and the Turnstile check that keeps automated spam out of the form
- Resend — delivers the notification email containing your request to the installer
- Crystal Clear Water LLC — receives your request and contacts you. Once they hold your details, their own privacy practices apply to their copy
How long we keep it
Requests are retained for two years so we can answer questions about work that was quoted or carried out, then deleted. Ask us sooner and we will delete it sooner.
Your rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to have it deleted, to have it corrected, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA, so there is nothing to opt out of.
To exercise any of these, email privacy@ocwatersoftener.com. We do not send a confirmation email when you submit a request, so use that address directly. We will need enough detail to find your record — normally the phone number you submitted.
Children
This site is intended for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be described here rather than quietly applied.
